Care is planned with ongoing consultation with you and your whanau. Our clinical care is informed by:

  • Clinical assessments - All disciplines
  • Access to podiatry, optometry or dental services - Private Providers
  • Access to gerontology nurse specialists - CDHB
  • Access specialist palliative care nurses - Nurse Maude
  • Access to nursing specialist infection control - CDHB
  • GP onsite weekly

Prior to admission you would have been assessed by NASC (Needs Assessment and Service Co-ordination), who will determine the level of care you require. NASC will also determine your eligibility for ministry funded support. See our Resources page for further information on NASC.
